It was a veeerrry hot July when we stayed at Lapita Hotel for our wedding anniversary get-away. If you’re a resident of Dubai or has been here during summer, you know what verrrryy hot means. 😆
We decided to escape in this boutique hotel because they have a promotion with Dubai Parks and Resorts that gets your free passes to LEGOLAND, MOTIONGATE, BOLLYWOOD and LEGOLAND Waterpark. We were given a total of 4 tickets valid for 2 days pass. Since it was summer, there’s hardly people at the park (except LEGOLAND Waterpark) so the complimentary Q-Fast access is not really necessary.
The resort is huge with 2 big swimming pools and a lazy river which I bet would be nice to just laze around during the month of March-April when it’s not so hot. 😉
The room was very spacious with a plush bedding, flat-screen TVs, marble bathrooms, complimentary Wi-Fi and private balconies. The only thing missing (for us) was the bath tub. 😉 We had a great time playing hide-and-seek because of the double door cabinet 😆 my little one really loved it.
I like the Polynesian luxurious décor and the hotel as a whole. I can sort of relate it to the Philippines product because of the wood carvings and the big fan decorated on the ceilings. 😉
Adding to how beautiful the hotel is, the service is also fantastic. When we reached the hotel, we didn’t feel like we’re in the city of Dubai. It’s like we’re transported to a totally different place.
We were greeted with a tropical delicious drink and cold towel to relax my just-woke-up-from-a-long-drive face. 😆 They have a small kiddie area at the reception so kids won’t feel bored while parents complete the check-in process.
After checking-in, we were transported to our room via golf cart. The hot wind blowing our faces didn’t bother as we’re enjoying the view. We stayed at one of the guest room located at Tiare which gave us a fantastic view of the resort. They have plenty of villas which is mainly around the swimming pools.
You can still walk though but it was really hoooot and for guests who just checked-in, it would help to just go by the buggy so you wouldn’t have carry your luggage. 😉
Since the breakfast/restau was on the main building, we walked the next day morning so we can see more of the place though one can also wait for a buggy for transpo.
Isn’t that view lovely? We literally owned the pool when we were there because there were no other guests enjoying the cold water , I think most of them were at the LEGOLAND waterpark.
The breakfast was good as well with lots of options on fresh fruits and thirst quenching drinks.
They also have kids club by the way, which we didn’t really get to try because we were at the park for two days. They have a buggy that will bring to you the park from the hotel and back. Waiting can be an issue though especially during summer.
But all in all, I do recommend this hotel especially for those who would like to spend a whole day at the parks.
