FOODventure: Breakfast at Serendipity

Chic, fab and colorful, a heaven for sweet lovers. Serendipity 3, known for its famous frozen hot choco, originally from NY founded by Stephen Bruce in 1954. It has been the scene of several films, including the 2001 romantic comedy Serendipity. It was last year (if I’m not mistaken) when they opened a branch at Dubai Festival City and City Walk.

I frequent this restau not only because my little one love the free popcorn and cotton candy she receives (an added factor when you have kids) but of course for the freshness and delicious food they offer. First time we tried having breakfast, and it did not disappoint us.

My husband love eggs benedict and so far his favorite is the one from MO’s . He always have to compare after his meal but this time, he loved them both. 😉

Excuse the photo as we were famished so didn’t focus much on taking a decent photograph. 😆

My hubby had this yummy Eggs Florentine, three poached eggs on brioche with spinach topped with hollandaise sauce (which I cannot make perfectly) and balsamic reduction. It really is yummy and delicious (I think!) at the same time.

I, on the other hand of course has to have cheese on my omelet so I ordered, the 3 Cheese Omelet. 😉

Let’s start with how fresh and tasty that simple looking salad on the side. I’m sure the dressing is just balsamic vinegar, salt, pepper and a squeeze of lemon but it doesn’t taste the same when I do it at home 😆 so there must be something else that they add there. I really love it.

The bread is also soft and you can taste the freshness of it.

And of course my omelet, which has cheddar, jack and swiss cheese mixed with beef bacon and mushrooms. You can either have a toast or crispy garlic potatoes on the side.

It’s too early for us to have frozen choco so we had a hot cup of coffee to complete our breakfast.

The price is also very affordable especially if you have an entertainer voucher. 😆 Which I highly recommend if you’re a food lover like us.

The above menu is just AED 58 each and a cup of coffee less than AED 20. So you’ll only spend less than AED 100 for a meal for two, if you have the entertainer voucher and around AED 150 for two, if no voucher.

Definitely one of the many restau we will be frequenting here in Dubai.
