Boo! 😉 Happy Halloween!
Dubai never used to celebrate Halloween, but I guess because of the increasing number of expats here it slowly became part of the annual celebrations. Most of the clubs, kids play areas, communities, schools, etc. now hold halloween activities around town.
For this year, we joined the Kids Connection activity at Wafi Mall. With a joining fee of AED 100 for each child, they were able to use the play area, join the arts & crafts, participate in the program, join the games, receive a loot bag along with a voucher of free 2 hours play time anytime until the end of the year plus free lunch provided by Soho Grill. It’s a really very affordable package I must say.
My daughter and her friend Zoe, had so much fun! Well actually, not only kids but as well as the parents since we were allowed to join the games to help our kids ;-). I really liked the idea as it became a family activity.
With the help of my fellow parents and guardians, our kids team won the first game! yeaaah! 😉
The finale of the program is to award the best in costume with a really good prize of AED 200 voucher at Wafi Mall plus a huge gift and voucher for free play time. There were two winners, 1 for the girls (cleopatra costume) and 1 for the boys (a really cute ninja)!
It was our first time at Kids Connection and even if they did not gave out vouchers, I will still go visit them again to bring Reese since the place is really nice. It’s very spacious plus the attendants are really good. They assist small children most especially and play with them too. It is also clean and there are couches for parents/guardians to watch while the kids play/run around.
Lucky that we have 2 vouchers so that means we can set another playdate for our kidlets on the coming weekends! 😉
I recommend this place to mommies! It’s a must visit.
Oh by the way, they have a nice party room. I heard the package is AED 85 per child and that includes food provided by Soho Grill (I think!). So this is definitely on my list now for Reese’s 6th birthday party!
